Don Cochran is based in beautiful Upstate New York, where he has been a professional photographer for more than 27 years.  He was a staff photographer for Eastman Kodak for 14 years, which brought him to a wide variety experiences and locations. Although most of his assignments were for advertising use, his strong connection with nature and the changing seasons has always been incorporated in his work.

Don had the opportunity to shoot in China, Korea, Norway, the Carribean, and every corner of America.  He has been published in A Day in the Life of China book and several national and international magazines.   His most recent book was Great Homes of Rochester and the Finger Lakes where he photographed all of the 36 homes. He shot images at 2 Olympics for Kodak in 1994 and 1996, and many other sporting venues.  He has been a freelance architectural photographer for 13 years and occasionally teaches at Rochester Institute of Technology.  He also taught nature photography for 4 summers as a Kodak Ambassador in Rocky Mountain and Yosemite National Parks.

He has created shows at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio, the Artspace in Richmond, VA., presented at several Fine Art shows for 3 years, displayed many panoramic images on the Kodak display in Times Square NYC and several shows within Kodak.

The photographs he has chosen to display have all been digitally retouched for optimum quality and color, and are printed using the latest techniques of giclee printing for archival permanence.
